Morning Leaders. Some leaders are just lazy. They don’t want to do the work when it comes to thinking or observing. But don’t you settle.
Observe. Think. Keep your eyes open. If other leaders want to stay sleeping, you can’t control that. Influence them when you can but continue doing your job. We need you. #EyesWideOpen

Morning Leaders – Stay Off The Stupid Train
Morning Leaders. As my friend reminded me the other day, “There are people who enjoy traveling on the ‘Stupid Train’. You (Jay) just happen to be one of those people who will stop them when everyone else around that person allows them to stay riding.”
Yep. That is true for the most part. Normally I stay quiet but I find myself especially derailing people who with their words act like they are on the “Brilliant Train” when they are actually on the “Stupid Train”. #InProcess #TruthHasASound #SpeakTruthPlease
Morning Leaders – What Great Work?
Morning Leaders. “Great works are performed not by strength but by perseverance.” – Samuel Johnson // #Focus
Morning Leaders – Super Loud Introverts
Morning Leaders. To all my Introverts, people cannot actually hear the loud thoughts in your brain. And they cannot read them so it’s okay to be around other people. To all my Extroverts who might not understand this, we Introverts are just as loud as you are, except the noise is in our head and not out loud like you. 🙂
Morning Leaders – Change Your World
Morning Leaders. “Change your thoughts and you change your world.” – Norman Vincent Peale
Morning Leaders – Tired of Being Unfulfilled
Morning Leaders. To those of you who are unfulfilled and you don’t know why, I say “Pause”. I know others tell you “Keep serving” and that still doesn’t relieve your angst. Consider this. Perhaps your Service does not match up with your Call and that disconnect leaves you feeling unfulfilled.
Faithfulness is not to an organization. It is to the One who calls you. #Selah
Morning Leaders – My Mother Said
Morning Leaders. “My mother said to me, ‘If you are a soldier, you will become a general. If you are a monk, you will become the Pope.’ Instead, I was a painter, and became Picasso.” – Pablo Picasso
Morning Leaders – Sound of the Genuine
Morning Leaders. “If you cannot hear the sound of the genuine in you, you will all of your life spend your days on the ends of strings that somebody else pulls.” – Howard Thurman
Morning Leaders – The Better Self
Morning Leaders. “Don’t bother just to be better than your contemporaries or predecessors. Try to be better than yourself.” – William Faulkner
Morning Leaders – That Healing Feeling
Morning Leaders. Healing of the mind has to take place first before the healing of the heart. #Selah
