Morning Leaders – Silence
Morning Leaders. “I’ve begun to realize that you can listen to silence and learn from it. It has a quality and a dimension all its own.”
― Chaim Potok

Morning Leaders – Genuine Leader
Morning Leaders. “A genuine leader is not a searcher for consensus but a molder of consensus.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.
Morning Leaders – Different
Morning Leaders. “The man who follows the crowd, will usually get no further than the crowd. The man who walks alone is likely to find himself in places no one has ever been before.” – Albert Einstein

Morning Leaders – Trailblazer
Morning Leaders. “If you want innovation tell me where you want to go, but don’t tell me how I must get there.” – Al Clausi

Morning Leaders – Average is Risky
Morning Leaders. One of the sadder things I have experienced on a project is when the Leader is more concerned with minimizing any and all risk so they don’t have any chance of looking bad as opposed to making the project as amazing as possible. They are content with an average, non-spectacular, project that doesn’t bring too much attention because they are afraid of any possibility of losing their job. They have no spirit of excellence and their creativity is usually as flashy as an acorn.
Their personal agenda of insecurity and fear keeps the project locked in a very bland box. Furthermore it frustrates the team working with that Leader because they often hear “NO” when it comes to sharing new ideas.
Please don’t be this kind of Leader. #ExcellenceOverFear
Morning Leaders – Finding Adaptability
Morning Leaders. What is one of your favorite qualities to see in a Leader?
One I like to see is Adaptability. When circumstances are good it is easy to execute the plan. But what happens when things go awry? Is the leader able to analyze the situation and adapt the plan accordingly? How does she or he deal with the pressure and still lead the team? This is one of the things I find interesting in a leader.
How about you? Share one of the qualities you like to see.
Morning Leaders – Crowd Control
Morning Leaders. “The smallest crowd you will lead is you. If you do that well, you will lead bigger crowds.” – John Maxwell
Morning Leaders – The Impossible
Morning Leaders. Doing the impossible involves dreaming beyond your comfort zone and then being intentional about manifesting it in the here and now. Many things seemed impossible before they got done (ie – airplane flight, landing on moon, mobile communication). What impossible moment will you materialize? #Think
