Morning Leaders – Action!
Morning Leaders. “You may explore, you may evaluate but you can’t execute if you are not willing to take action. Decide to take off now!” – Israelmore Ayivor
Morning Leaders – What Determines My Value?
Morning Leaders. The value you bring through your ACTIONS pales in comparison to the value you are in just BEING you. I’m personally learning this on a whole new level. Most of my historical conversations about value were in my DOING things. #RewritingMyStory #Grace
Morning Leaders – Greater Love
Morning Leaders. “Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.” (John 15:13; 1 Peter 4:8; 1 John 3:16-18)
Being “Done” v. Being “Perfect”
By using apps like Flipboard, Alltop and Pocket, I get to read a variety of interesting and provocative articles. I recently found this Fast Company article addressing the reality that believing in ideas is easy, the hard part is actually putting them into practice.
With companies like Instagram, Facebook, and Rovio leading the charge, the mantra “done is better than perfect” can clearly be seen. This reminds us it is better to ship a product/service than stay stuck in the halls of perfection without ever going to market.
