Morning Leaders. Mentors have never lined up to work with me or accepted my request for guidance. So the biggest leadership lessons I have learned have come from actually doing leadership and learning in the School of Hard Knocks. A second way of learning for me has been through Reflection and Observation of myself and others. Today I realized a powerful third way for me has been having Mentees who have brought intentional leadership out of me. In my teaching others over the years it has caused me to grow deeper in what I already knew, as well as learn new things in the exchange of life and leading with a mentee. #Grateful
